Overview
  • Study at a world top-30 university and Group of Eight member (QS 2026)
  • Engineers Australia accredited and Washington Accord recognised — portable worldwide
  • Flexible honours — build a mechanical & systems focus; 2-year post-study work visa

ANU teaches engineering as a design-led, systems-thinking discipline. Rather than a single narrow stream, the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) lets you develop a mechanical and systems focus — mechanics, materials, mechatronics, thermofluids and systems design — anchored by a substantial honours research or design project.

Graduates work across manufacturing, defence, energy, robotics and consulting. The honours degree is accredited by Engineers Australia and recognised under the Washington Accord, and a 2-year post-study work visa plus skilled-migration pathways make it a strong launchpad.
